Inspired by a recent trip to Morocco, Parisian darling Simon Porte Jacquemus' Autumn/Winter 2018/19 collection showed his ability to turn the heat up.

Inadvertently it also conjured up the debate on the relevance of seasons. Jacquemus' latest didn't feel like a winter collection with merely a jumper or coat in sight. But does it matter anymore? In a globalized fashion landscape, there will always be a style-conscious woman somewhere to buy one of Jacquemus' generously slit dresses.

Moving on from his early days as an adept of quirky proportions, the designer seems to now be exploring the female body as a temple of sensuality.

Soon he will lend his magic touch to her male counterpart as he just announced the upcoming debut of his menswear line. Social media is already buzzing.
