On Day One of London Fashion Week SS19 I had the pleasure to be invited by Nicola Formichetti and his team to sketch backstage for their Nicopanda Fashion Show. Needless to say, it was a very exciting experience and I had an amazing time drawing quickly only a few moments before the show.

With its bright colours, amazing make-up and great accessories (including cowboy hats), the show was a feast to sketch. Models were more than kind and they took the time to pose for me in the craziness of the moment.

The collection itself openly referenced the 90s underground dance culture and the show felt more like a rave, with huge disco balls and a mix including Lady Gaga, Eminem and Basement Jaxx.

The show marks also the beginning of a collaboration with Merch by Amazon on a line of t-shirts featuring artwork by artist Hilton Dresden.
