Here's a sketch of model Lorna Foran who kindly posed for me during "Intergalactic Recruitment", the Autumn/Winter 2019 Band of Outsiders presentation.

Under the creative direction of Angelo Van Mol, the brand introduced womenswear for the very first time, with 8 key looks that explore the end of the '60s and beginning of the '70s.

The collection draws inspiration from a pivotal historical moment: the moon landing. But instead of focusing on the event itself, Van Mol explored the feelings and the looks of those who watched the moon landing happen in front of their TVs, in their living room.

It was a moment of empowerment and discovery, that led also to uncharted territories in fashion and style as well. The colour palette reflects this as well, with warm hues of orange and burgundy balanced with camel, navy and black.
