MARINE SERRE AW19

It's not that easy for me to be objective while writing these words, as Marine Serre Autumn/Winter 2019 fashion show was probably my favourite one during this last Paris Fashion Week. I have been in love with Serre's work since her debut at the Hyères Festival and I was more than excited to finally be able to attend one of her shows and, of course, to sketch during it.

After her glorious runway debut, roughly one year ago, as part of the Paris official schedule, Marine Serre is now one of the most awaited moments of the week. While stepping into the venue, under a green blinding light, I was very excited for what was to come.

Her Autumn/Winter 2019 collection, called "RADIATION", explores a not too far future where the ecological crisis has spread leading to a fashionable apocalypse. Marine Serre's characters are the only survivors, looking for shelter in caves deep underground (almost like the real venue of the show) and rocking a radical street-style on the verge of a delicate balance between culture and nature.

The show, enhanced by psychedelic lights effect, was indeed an amazing experience! Thank you so much to PR Consulting for having me!
