Here's a quick sketch that I created during the GMBH Spring/Summer 2020 fashion show, one of the freshest highlights of Paris Fashion Week last June.
The Berlin-based collective was founded in 2016 by Serhat Isik and Benjamin Huseby and it's gaining more and more attention, offering a new take on streetwear that reflects also the multicultural heritage of both founders.
GMBH, which is how "limited company" is translated in German, has been known also for their eco-conscious approach to fashion, something that was part of their latest collection as well, worked on sourcing vegan material.
'20 20 Vision', their new collection, is presented as a spiritual journey into their multicultural background in which "the Evil Eye" becomes a recurring symbol.
The Evil Eye is so printed on t-shirts, dresses or takes the shape of sunglasses and jewellery as part of a collaboration with Alan Crocetti.
The colour palette of GMBH new offering was possibly the strongest part of the collection, including white and soft tones like aquamarine and lapis blue.
This sketch is part of my Paris Fashion Week SS20 live illustrated coverage for L'Officiel Hommes Italia.
