On the occasion of Milan Design Week and its satellite fair Fuorisalone, I had the extra pleasure to collaborate with the iconic luxury brand Cartier for a whole week in their flagship Montenapoleone boutique.
Part of the busy schedule of the Fuorisalone and the Milan Furniture Fair, Cartier took the opportunity to present their exclusive Cartier Libre 2023 collection to their beloved clients, press and jewellery enthusiasts.
The presentation consisted of a beautifully designed exhibition set in the Milan Cartier flagship store, introducing the limited series pieces of the new collection.
The Cartier Libre collection has been conceived every year in complete freedom by the Cartier design studios to push creative boundaries.
This year, the Cartier Libre collection explores the concept of volumes, taking to new heights their amplification: this line embodies Cartier's unique signature and its bold confidence, resulting in fine sculptural pieces.
The exclusive Cartier Libre Tressage cape, originally worn by Zoe Saldana, was also part of the exhibition: a unique piece mixing the codes of jewellery and fashion which took approximately 1.780 hours of work.
Talented artisans of the house were also invited during the presentation, as they were creating some of the pieces of the collection.
As for me, I was in charge of creating delicate portraits of guests as they were discovering and trying the Cartier Libre collection, in a dreamy and lush setting, surrounded by plants and flowers.
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Cartier for a whole week, not only I had the chance to explore the creativity of the house, but also to meet so many people and their stories in a lavish atmosphere.
Thank you very much to the whole Cartier team for having me and for welcoming me so warmly during these days, I really felt at home! Please check out the gallery below to have a glimpse of the whole Cartier Libre experience:
