I recently had the pleasure of collaborating on a beautiful and imaginative project for GALLEST, a stylish and inspiring womenswear fashion brand founded in Japan in 2023.
The GALLEST team reached out to me to design a collection of artwork for the debut of their new Spring line, which is being showcased online under the title THE GALLEST ~Fusion of Art~ on their official website.
The project was designed to showcase the special connection that GALLEST has with art, a bond that lies at the core of the brand itself and is reflected in its name, which comes from the term "gallery."
The GALLEST ~Fusion of Art~ web project is designed as a virtual gallery that allows everyone to explore new trends and enjoy one-of-a-kind experiences.
I was thrilled to be the inaugural featured artist for this exciting project, with the task of creating a collection of twelve images that beautifully integrate with GALLEST's new spring collection.
The entire series revolves around four pieces from the new GALLEST collection, each showcased in various colors and thoughtfully styled to create distinct silhouettes that are unique and characteristic of the brand's universe.
Working on this unique project has been a true joy, and I feel honored to be the first artist to team up with GALLEST. Over the course of several weeks, we developed the entire series in close collaboration with the team, guided by a talented art director, to ensure we captured the brand's vision perfectly.
I am always genuinely happy to see a brand willing to take a chance by incorporating illustrations alongside photographs to showcase their work. I was thrilled that they appreciated my aesthetic enough to entrust me with this project.
GALLEST, created by Fields International Co., Ltd., part of the World Group, made its debut in Spring/Summer 2023. It presents a trendy casual style designed for women who want to embrace fashion with a fresh perspective and new values.
I am truly grateful to the GALLEST team and the art direction for allowing me to be a part of such a unique project and I look forward to more creative ventures together.
